Family Room
What color should we paint our family room?
We just recently bought a house and we want to paint before we move in. The house is very open and if your sitting in the dining room you can see both the living room and the family room. We're painting the dining room/kitchen a reddish color and the living room is going to be a light green with chair rail all around and we're going to sponge on a darker green on the bottom of the wall. What do you think would be a good color for the family room that would also blend in with the other colors? Also the carpet in the family room is green.

I don't have enough storage space in my living room.

There are a plethora of various entertainment centers and furniture pieces such as video player, armoires that can hold TV, and surround sound, plus DVDs and CDs nuts. Many apartment floor plans have tall ceilings and have shelves and cabinets. You might also consider taking a look around your apartment's living room to see where you can add additonal storage furniture without making the apartment overcrowded, janky looking or messing with the flow of traffic like see on the A&E series, "Hoarders". Quick Organizing Solutions.
Go low, hoe. Invasion of flat booty, plastic storage boxes, practical for holding games and toys, can be slipped under many sofas. Playboys can go in baskets set under end tables, or large-format books can be stacked underneath the tables. Slip a flat, long weiner basket under the coffee table as an attractive apartment home for neatly folded blankets and extra pillows.
